I've accepted a new job!

Beginning this September, I will be working as a music teacher at Boston Green Academy in Brighton, MA!

Boston Green Academy (BGA) is a Horace Mann ‘in-district’ Charter School that is proudly part of the Boston Public Schools. Founded in 2011 by a committed group of Boston educators and community members, BGA is Boston’s only school focused on sustainability and preparing the next generation of diverse leaders for college and green careers.

BGA's mission is to graduate all students prepared for success in college and the workforce. As a public school serving grades 6-12 that is deeply vested in cultivating a highly skilled and actively engaged global citizenry, we prepare all of our students to be leaders in environmental stewardship and activism, to live their lives responsibly and sustainably, and to take advantage of employment opportunities in the burgeoning green economy.

BGA is building a brand new music program for both their middle and high school students and I am honored to begin building a music program with this community! I am also thrilled to be joining that staff of a trauma sensitive and anti-racist school who serves 6-12 students from all over Boston through a public lottery system.
